5 Tips to Start Your Day
1. Get out of bed. It’s tempting to hit the snooze when you’re not expected to be in an office. But you should treat your workday at home like any other. Oh, and make your bed too to fight the urge to jump back in.
2. Get fed. Have a good breakfast. Skipping meals wreaks havoc on your concentration and ensures too many visits to the fridge throughout the day.
3. Get dressed. Sure, we love to wear our yoga pants all day long, but the temptation to lounge around is far less tempting when we're not all that comfortable.
4. Get busy. Making your to-do list the night before helps cut down on the morning dawdling.
5. Get lost. Tell your mom, your neighbors, your friends, your fellow PTA members to get... well, just not to bother you while you work.
