5 Very Tired & Overused Marketing Words |

"Best." Hellman's mayonnaise aside, saying your company is simply "the best" can create immediate skepticism. Try to back up your claim with some facts: Were you voted the best or rated the best? If so, when and by whom? |

"Solutions." Overused and vague. So many companies promise to solve problems that the term has lost its edge. |

"Quality." This is another one of those relative terms: High-end specialty retailers and discounters are, arguably, both purveyors of quality merchandise. |

"Professional." As opposed to unprofessional? Professionalism is expected. |

"Unique." Aren't we all? |
