	5 Ways to Parlay Your Vacation into $$$$
	1.	Write about it. Query parenting, children’s or travel magazines to see if they’d be interested in your recent jaunt. You don’t necessarily have to be a published writer--write something up, submit it, and see what happens. Couldn’t hurt.
	2.	Lease advertising space on your car. There are companies that will pay you to place their ads on your car--or even provide you a free car of their own--turning your vehicle into their own moving billboard as you canvas the nation’s highways.
	3.	Be a mystery shopper. Firms hire mystery shoppers for everything from restaurants to amusement parks. Basically, you visit the venue, evaluate it and get paid or reimbursed for your detailed evaluation.
	4.	Sell your vacation photos. Websites and magazines often are looking for good beach shots, landscapes and even food pix (some of the biggest buyers of vacation photos are microstock sites). Or if you stumble upon a town's local event, like a parade, take some photos and try selling them to the local press.
	5.	Resell stuff. While vacationing, look for cheap, interesting items that can be resold back home, either at a garage sale or on eBay. This tip is best for car trips, where there’s no luggage fees for returning home with extra swag.
