5 Business Card Tips |
| 1. |
Make your name prominent. Often new business associates will tell you their name, but it really doesn’t register until you look at the one on the card in your hands--the spelling, the ethnicity, the way the letters go together. Make sure yours is easy to find. |
| 2. |
Have a logo. You don’t have to have one professionally designed. Just be creative. One of our favorite writers, Kristyn Lak Miller, simply uses the alphabet with the KLM (her initials) enlarged. |
| 3. |
Always include your website and email address. |
| 4. |
Look professional. Good card stock and raised lettering are our personal favorites. |
| 5. |
Be unique… but practical. Vertical business cards may be cooler than their horizontal friends, but they’re a pain in the neck to read when in a rolodex. |
